Dad took this picture of me driving his Mercedes the other day - it is SO COOL!! I am NOT getting used to it though, because I get to go home to my MV and the Pro-toe-hay. I joke with Dad, though, because my brother AJ got my Dad's pride and joy, the Taurus SHO that, after having it for 15 years only had probably 80k on it and my Dad babied that thing more than any of us :). And my sister just got their Camry they only had a few years and the neighbor they had bought that from babied that thing to death. So the big joke is that I will get this car when they're "done" with it - I certainly have 20 years to wait:).

Chuck E. Cheese - Can You Say PAR-TAY?
Here is a picture of master highchair escapee, Jax, taken by Grandpa.

This is on the way home last night from the big #7 birthday party of THE Jonah Kimball

Here is the ECSTATIC BIRTHDAY BOY - Happy Birthday, Jonah!

And here is the middle bro, E-L-I!

We had a fun party, just the family and the neighbor boy, Geordan. It was nice to not have to watch 10 kids in a place like that, trying to get everyone back for dinner, then cake, etc. I got off SO WAY EASY this year. Grandpa paid, Chuck E. Cheese cleaned up, and we are ALL happy - ESPECIALLY Jonah, which is MOST important!

Fungus does not mean Fun with Gus

Sometimes I feel like God understands I can't handle major catastrophes, tragedy or other such life altering occurrences so he has blessed me with things like fungus. Yes, I know fungus is not one of life's major travesties, however, it is like that tickle you get in the small of your back that you just can't reach. No I have not lost a limb, my hair is receding not bald yet, and my 1994 mazda protege purrs like a kitten as I make my daily sojourn down to the office. Yes fungus does itch, it gives off a zangy aroma, is not the highlight of most persons involved with infectious disease, but right now it haunts my every dream. It feels my mind with stirring thoughts of complete insanity followed by gnashing of teeth"biblical reference", and the urge to run down my quiet, conservative street at Forest Ridge butt naked howling like a dog at the moon. My bed calls, fungus free for the time being, with this I give a shot out to my three handsome boys and my sexy wife. Yo Yo East Side Mormon hollering at your feet, dope y'all peace out.

Just a Few Thoughts - so sorry, Iowa
Sorry about the picture of me - Jory has been asking me to send him one, I have my "Beach Hair" hairdo going on (aka, no hairdo whatsoever), but Jonah took one, so this is it.
A note about Iowa City. As you may know, I was born and raised in Iowa City, got my undergrad from the U of Iowa - and my parents just moved here to North Carolina this last year after living in Iowa City for over 37 years. I am so sad about the devastation that they have been experiencing for the last week or so, but I am very happy that we hadn't planned on spending our month vacation in the high seas of Iowa City. . .

Ready for Retirement
This is the life. This is the life with my parents I wish I had had growing up. Parents around all of the time, going out to eat, riding in a Mercedes, no worries about money - go go go. To the beach, to the pool, mini golfing, aquariums. Yep, I am ready for retirement!!
